Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to notoriety after she released her first album Age Ain't Nothing but A Number in the year 1994. When she was just 15 years old, the album earned Gold recognition. This collaboration was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and made her a star on the map. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. It contained If Your Girls Only Knew, the single that was most popular. Aaliyah received international recognition for her R&B songs on this album. In 2000 she appeared in Romeo Must Die, a action/romance film starring Jet-Li. Her role came about following an interview with film producer Joel Silver at an awards ceremony. She was in 2002 when she appeared as in the Anne Rice-based movie about horror Queen of the Damned. After that, she entered the Matrix by playing Zee as Zee in The Matrix Sequels having also been as a character in The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 and The Matrix Revolutions in the same year. She received four Grammy nominations from 1999 to 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is the first generation Indian-American to be born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. It is an abbreviation for Mankad which is her name as a married surname. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name, but she is also known as Aarti Magumdar. Although she began with minor film and TV roles, her acting started becoming more popular in the turn of the century. The actress has also been featured in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy as well as Grey's Anatomy. Commercials for her show have included prominent brands like Volvo. She currently lives in Los Angeles along with her spouse, daughter, and husband. She is also pursuing her acting profession.
