Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to several Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the film as actress Savitri. She also won a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actress. Following her study of fashion design, she returned to the world of film. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. The movie was not a success in the theater. Her first film release was A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. The film was not a success at the box office. The busy schedule she had throughout the year resulted in her having choose to stay out of movies that she was developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to take on bigger projects. In the end, she worked on two films in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the lead part on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. It was delayed from 2015 with reports that it will be released after September in 2020 under the name Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni.
