Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musical family on 9 August 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel superstar Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. as well as a cousin of the singing sensation Dionne Warwick. Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting and political reporter for CNN.
