Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musical family on 9 August 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel superstar Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. as well as a cousin of the singing sensation Dionne Warwick. Her first singing gig was in the choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and at 15 was singing backing vocals professionally along with their mother in Chaka Khan's 1978 smash Im Every Woman. Her mother, Jermaine, and Lou Rawls were a few of those who she sang with. She was also briefly as a model for Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. She began working as a lead vocalist with the band from New York called Material as well. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the top-selling album of an unproven singer. It allowed her to achieve seven US chart-topping songs in succession which surpasses the Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies during its initial year, and 25 million globally. She won her first six Grammys. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles What Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to build on the success of her debut album. It was, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most well-known artist. While her movie performance and its soundtrack were not popular however, her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the album accompanying it were top of the charts around the globe for several months. It was also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer who gave her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. Around this time, her well-documented substance abuse began and by 1996, she had been using drugs on a daily basis.

Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting and political reporter for CNN. She has also produced certain of the network's Sunday shows like the Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels before, including NBC as well as CBS. Bash has been awarded numerous awards, including a place in the Women in Washington Power List by Elle magazine. Bash is renowned for her amazing anchoring and reporting skills, and is admired by young journalists. The George Washington University graduate is a loving mother to one son. She was married twice, and she is now married. Bash is an independent, tough woman. She cherishes her fans.
