Jillian Noel Hennely was born 25 November, 1968. She is a highly accomplished Canadian actress and performer who has made a significant contribution to American TV. She was a star in American popular television show Law & Order, where she amused viewers with her role as prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh over six seasons. Her acting talents were shown in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as along with Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. In these films, she displayed her co-directing and writing capabilities. Hennessy began the acting profession with her sister in the role of twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. Parker has been known for her roles in TV and films such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side as well as The West Wing Angels of America, for which she won an Golden Globe Award as well as an Emmy Award. Parker received a Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her character in Proof in Broadway.
